A few months ago my watch stopped working. It isn’t a particularly expensive one but it does hold sentimental value to me as it was a gift from my son. I took it to our local repair shop, after opening it up he said there was nothing he could do and advised me to send it back to the manufacturer for a replacement. Naturally I hadn’t held onto the guarantee, so when I got home I put it in my office drawer and forgot about it.
The other week I was sorting through the drawers and found it again. I put it on; hoping the warmth of my body would make it work again. I wore it overnight, even sending it healing energy, but to no avail.
The follow morning I remembered in the 1980’s Uri Geller encouraged everyone with a broken watch or clock to place it on picture of him which was printed in the newspapers. A similar thing was also done on a TV Show where he asked people to place their broken items on top of their television sets (when they were huge!) Success was reported all over the country and failures too. Many skeptics even claimed it was the heat of the televisions which made them work again, others said you had to truly believe in order for it to work. I was a child at the time so I never got to try, but I have been intrigued by it over the years.
I decided it couldn’t hurt, so I Googled one of the photos he used for the project. I placed my watch in front of my monitor and spent a few moments looking into his eyes. I then thought if working with higher energies was the key I would treat it like a spiritual psychic session and I closed my eyes and asked my guides to connect me to his Higher Self Aspect and asked for his assistance in repairing my watch.
After this great build up I slowly opened my eyes and picked up the watch, to my disappointment it wasn’t working. I put it back in my drawer. The next morning I opened it to retrieve some stationary, and pulled the watch out along with it, and to my great surprise it was working perfectly. However, even more incredible, was the fact, that it had even been set to the correct time and it most certainly hadn’t been when I put it in the drawer!
I showed it to my husband Phil, and explained what had happened. He told me about the time he went to see Uri in one of his shows years ago and interviewed him afterwards. He said that it wasn’t until after he got home hours later he realised his key had bent (another talent Uri enjoyed demonstrating along with spoon bending) Phil said his key was fine at the time of the experiment in the theatre and he assumed it hadn’t worked for him. Although at the time Uri did explain that it sometimes took time for the effect to take place, which it did in both our cases!
I don’t know how it worked, I’m only grateful that it did, so a big thank you to Uri Geller , and perhaps it’s time I tried my hand at spoon bending now
